Subject: Two Leadership openings… Women in Housing: Women In Housing A message from Sallie Traxler to all members of Women In Housing on ACUHO-I Network!

ACUHO-I is accepting applications from members interested in being a part of the newly created ACUHO-I Women in Housing Network.

The association is looking for individuals interested in serving as chair and chair-elect. Interested individuals should complete the online survey available here and also email a copy of their resume, vita, or a thorough professional biography to Karen Feasel at [email protected] Applications will be accepted through April 15.

Available positions include:

Chair (to serve April 2011 through the 2013 ACUHO-I Annual Conference and Exposition)

Chair-Elect (to serve April 2011 through the 2013 ACUHO-I Annual Conference and Exposition 2013 and then assume the chair position)

The ACUHO-I Women in Housing Network is charged to:

- Regularly assess the members of the network and others to identify the needs for association stakeholders.

- Engage in research to provide data for not only the network but to the general membership about unique issues and needs of women in higher education and specifically housing.

- Solicit programs on issues related to women in housing for ACUHO-I sponsored events. To suggest new professional development opportunities through the work group liaisons.

- Encourage networking opportunities and engagement for women staff at ACUHO-I activities and events.
